Brisbane’s been on fire as of late, case in point Dom Bird and “Told You”, a real chill electronic jam with beautiful synth chords, soul-soothing bass lines, a gorgeous use of pitch-shifted vocal samples and calming beats. In all honesty, we’ve never heard of a more stunning downtempo piece like this, at least not in a long while; it’s like a daydream composed into a five-minute song.
