LA’s Caves (a.k.a. Luka Cage) seems to pull off hit after hit, “Eleven Twenty”, his latest, showcases Luka’s highly imaginative producing abilities in making brass instruments sound cool again. With this one, there’s a little more soul and a lot more jive to its backbone—a refreshingly distinct element to land upon. And those beats…killer. There’s more goodness where that came from; this track is just one of the four off of his recently released When You Were Partying, I Was Dying. released via Absent Fever so be sure to pick up the rest of the EP from their Bandcamp.
