Columbia’s Ramphastos just hit us up with his new track “Get Weird”, a track described to be a reactionary effort of commenting on the surge of ‘over-produced beat music’ said to be emanating from the UK. It can be heard in Will Flourance’s new track a distinct orientation towards something more than mere beat production. Inhabiting within “Get Weird” is something pulsing, hypnotic, odd, and hollow, all the while eliciting its graceful heart of warmth and soul in its lo-fi production. The single drops for download on March 1st and expect to find it off of his forthcoming album Southern Gothic via Bandcamp.
