AIMES is the Brooklyn project of the multifaceted Musician/DJ/Producer, Aman Ellis. He recently released the 11-track debut album titled Your Floor Is Now a Tree (via ModyWorks) which was described perfectly by the label as “…a sound that captures the feeling one gets as the sun begins to set and people begin to wash off their sun-kissed bodies for an evening of merriment and indulgence”. Strangely enough, the album is not strictly electronica, ambient or dance as it alternates between instrumental tracks and those with vocals; there are in fact a few pop gems with added tropical twists like the track “If You Ever Wanna”.
