CLASS ACTRESS - WEEKEND (CASA DEL MIRTO REMIX)
Casa Del Mirto has recently given Class Actress’ “Weekend” the remix treatment, adding his italo-pop and dreamwave touch to the track and highlighting Elizabeth Harper’s already blissful vocals. It’s a rather exceptional remix if we ever did see one. You can grab this down below or via Carpark Records’ Soundcloud. The original track by Class Actress is off of Rapprocher out now on Carpark Records. Also be sure to check out Casa Del Mirto’s double album The Nature via mashhh! Records.

OLIVER TANK - WHAT HAVE I BECOME (FLASH FOREST REMIX)
Taking Oliver Tank’s already great track “What Have I become”, fellow Australian Flash Forest reinterprets the track by cutting and chopping the original version and weaving overlapping ambient sounds that maintains, if not adds to the rich texture of sounds found in the original. Grab the original track “What Have I Become” and scope some other tracks by Oliver Tank over at Soundcloud. Also be sure to check out Flash Forest’s other tunes over at Soundcloud as well.

WASHED OUT - AMOR FATI (CLAMS CASINO REMIX)
Washed Out’s track resurfaces again, this time with Clams Casino’s remix of “Amor Fati”. In addition to pitch-shifted vocals, it’s almost a complete deconstruction of the original track’s light and upbeat pop sensibilities which are replaced by a brooding fog of heavier, deeper and darker layers of robust synth melodies. It’s definitely an interesting rework so be sure to grab it down below and find the original track off of Washed Out’s recent LP Within and Without via Sub Pop Records, or more recently from the Amor Fati 12” single released via Weird World which includes the Clams Casino remix.

TWIN SISTER - KIMMI IN A RICEFIELD (REID REMIX)
Twin Sister’s “Kimmi In A Ricefield” might possibly be the best track to remix, at least according to the recent onslaught of remixes of the one song. We posted about the stunning Glitter Bones remix of the track a while back, and now there’s another round of reworks yesterday by Balam Acab whose remix is a blissful wonder and today by Cork, Ireland’s REID with a taste of haunted edge (stream above). Both of these newer remixes are excellent, reconstructing soundscapes familiar to each producers’ hand around Andrea Estella’s dreamy vocals. Be sure to grab both of these remixes down below and find the brilliant original track off of Twin Sister’s recent LP In Heaven via Domino Records.

SUN GLITTERS - TOO MUCH TO LOSE (SUN GLITTERS SELF REMIX)
Sun Glitters remixes his own track “too much to lose” and you know it’s going to be good when one of the top producers and remixers in the game treats his own. As meta as that may be, there’s no denying that his self remix is amazing. While discernibly leaving traces of the original melodic structures intact, the few areas reworked really shine through with subtle ingenuity. You can find this track appearing on a too much to lose remix EP coming out soon. In the meantime, you can grab this remix down below or via Soundcloud.

RACES - BIG BROOM (SUN GLITTERS REMIX)
Sun Glitters works his celestial magic again for Races’ “Big Broom”, transforming the original indie-rock masterpiece into an unrecognizable opus of blissful moments and euphoric purges. As usual, the Luxembourg producer delivers his finest with his reworks, in fact, they seem to get better and better and this in particular is definitely one of his best yet. You can grab this stunning remix down below and find the original track off of Races’ Big Broom b/w Cruel And Rude 7” via Jaxart.
