PREMIERE: BLESSIN’ - 2 PRS

Denton’s bedroom-pop outfit Blessin’ is back with a slew of new tracks they’ve just finished recording and as big fans and past supporters we’re happy to help premiere one of them here. “2 prs” is yet another case of the outfit’s distinct and uncanny ability to craft incredibly catchy guitar riffs that perfectly compliment their breezy, laid-back aesthetic. It’s straight up clean bedroom-pop with a distinct vocal styling and melodies that are laced with a cheery optimism that just ease right into you. BLESSIN’ - I STILL LIKE YOU

Here’s an excellent guitar-pop piece from Denton’s Blessin’ called “I Still Like You”. Things can’t possibly get any more laid-back than with these dreamy guitar and bass melodies effortlessly floating behind smoothly reverbed vocals that sing of unrequited yearning. Completely relatable and it’s the perfect remedy after surviving a hectic week.

We’ve previously written about one of the members of this new band under ShaShaheed and we can definitely hear similar influences with their new project which includes 3 other members. Needless to say, we’re really digging the direction of it all. Find this track alongside the equally excellent and dreamy guitar-pop b-side “Lately” over at Bandcamp.
