The video features edited footage from the 1979 film Sam’s Song alongside some beautiful surf shots. The beach with De Niro, ’70s nostalgia, general fun-in-the-sun—sounds about right. We’re excited to premiere this video produced by the talented folks over at Synesthesiae Films for Turning Torso’s “Fonema”. This video combines innovative editing techniques of footage capturing telescopic images of the moon and gorgeously lit skies of exploding fireworks. The result is a successful effort in creating something simply unique and mesmerizing which is always particular to their work. The gorgeous ambient number “Fonema” itself is off of Turning Torso’s recent brilliant album Serendipia which is available via Bandcamp.
A hypnotizing video for “Floating in Blue” from Young Prisms features double exposures of stony face shots of the band fittingly captured in varying tones of cerulean, creating the illusion of floating in water. The blissful shoegaze jam is off of their full length In Between which is set to drop March 27th on Kanine Records.
Montreal’s TOPS unveil their new video for their soft rock number “Rings of Saturn” which features the band casually performing in a large open space shot with an aesthetic coming straight out of early ’90s home videos. Another amazing video done by Panaframe for Barcelona duo Granit and their track “Marea Viva”. Superimposed images over ocean waves never looked more enticingly beautiful and eerie. You can find the track off of Granit’s self-titled debut 10” over at their Bandcamp.
